Freebies…Asians love free junk. It can be a pile of crap as long as it’s free. They love taking the complimentary shampoo and soap from hotels.

33 Linda Chen // Jun 2, 2008 at 6:50 pm
Hi guys. I am a sexual and relationship expert, my name is Linda chen. Now I am going to review the secrets fact about interracial dating between asian guys and white girls.
Most girls only date guys within their own race. Comparing to male, female’s sexual drive are lower, most female do not have a strong sexual preference (for example, my b/f must have six packs) when it comes to attractiveness, we consider a man’s kindness, sense of humour, personality are far important than their looks. That is why most of us prefer dating guys within our own race, because we feel more comfortable and easier to approach a guy who has more culture connection. This is why it is hard for any male to score a female with different race.
Right now, some people will wonder why there are more af/wm couple than am/wf couples. There are a few reasons.
1 Europe and US are the continents dominated by white male, because most people living there are white. Physiologically female would prefer to settle down with male who are able to protect them and look after them financially. In most white girls’ mind, white male can do better job than black and Asians
2 Culture background, speaking openly, it’s our asian male culture. 1000 years ago, male can not kiss a girl or even hold their hands before they get married. Most of our parents do not allow us seeing girls before we finish our university. Asian guys are shy because in the back of their mind, strict family education becomes the barrier to their dating opportunity. Girls like a guy make the first move, that’s the rule.
3 There are a lot of asian male who only date asian female because they consider asian female are more faithful to them. It is easier to dominate asian female rather than ‘open minded”, tall white female. Again this is kind of culture barrier.
4 Some white female have strong sexual preference which means they prefer dating white guys only because their body are more attractive (for example they are taller).
5 Western culture influence and trend matters. The whole world love American culture because they have the biggest corporation companies, best RnB artist, funky fashion design. In korea and japan, teenagers make their hair brown , put on make ups with whiter skin tone. 80% American male models are white, 80% American heroes are white male. our asian just fall for western culture. Once a white female friend told me she needs to love and understand a culture before she falls in love with the man from that particular culture. How many white women love our asian male domination culture? how many white female think its funky and trendy? How many hot asian male models you can find on American TV? we don’t get the asian image.
Now, I am going to give a few tips to my asian men about how to approach white female.
1 Be confident, all girls love confident guys, you should go out more, making more friends with different races, this will improve your social skill(also you can ask your white buddy if his sister looking for a b/f ïŠ. )
2 Break the culture rules and get into group. Don’t let conservative asain culture or your parents’ strict sex education bother you if you are looking for white female, because they do not buy it. You shouldn’t judge them by asain rules, you need to respect them and showing them you are strong enough to look after them. Be a good listener, pretend you are interested in what they are talking about and make their smile.
3 get into gym, work out more, build up some muscles. If you are short, this is quite important.
4 Be a slut, don’t be afraid to talk to the girls you like, you are a man, what are you going to lose? Focus on their emotions, first impression is very important. If they keep their eye contact with you longer than 5 seconds and quickly move away, then immediately look back at you, that means they like you.
5 Western girls like going clubbing, club is the easiest way and most popular dating scene. Do not just sit at the corner all night hopping a girl will throw herself to you. Do some sexy dance to impress a girl, if you find someone like your butt, then you should approach her straight way( do not delay, it’s a biggest turn off for western girls) The only problem is our asains are not good at drinking, you need to practise more.

How about glamor wedding shots. Regardless whether a big glamorous wedding took place, most asian couples will spend a half day primping and take a glamor shot at a studio, get it touched up, blow it up to poster size, frame it, and hang it somewhere near the entry way of their house.

Umm I’ve always thought that the “Justice Bao” series is something that is unanimously famous among all Asian people. Talk to anyone of us and we probably have seen a version of it sometimes in our childhoold. Anyway, how can I contribute to this topic. I know quite a bit about the series itself as well as all the versions and which country it was shown etc.

Also with regards to the food topic, I think that “Dried shreddged cuttlefish” is pretty much available in most Asian countries (in a wide variety of seasonings) Can I contribute about this as well?

Great list. However, there’s a problem here, this blog is supposed to be named: Stuffs Chinese and Korean People Like. Not Asians.
Asians are far too diversed — by economy, lifestyle, ethnicity, religion and tradition — to be generalized in this way.

I’m half Chinese and most of this IS TRUE for the Asian people I know.
Add the fact that we don’t trust other people with personal info and use PO BOXES to collect mail.
Add paranoia to germs…
Add stinginess but only in the fact that we are willing to bargain on generic crap and only buy nice stuff if it is on sale…like 75% of the last marked price.
Add Swarovski…we love Swarovski and designer stuff especially Burberry, LV, Dior, Gucci.
Add that we know where you get free food/stuff, where the nice toilets are and pop music

I’m mixed, part Chinese, with no cultural connection to it. Tell me, is this quintessentially Chinese (/Asian) behaviour?:
I recently stayed in a hotel, and before hanging the sign on the door requesting my room be serviced, I found myself crawling around on my hands and knees picking up every tiny little bit of dirt I could see. Turns out I did such a good job, I didn’t get my room vacuumed as I had wanted.
It’s something my Dad would have us do as kids, not wanting motelliers thinking we were a “dirty family”.

Brazil, a close ally of Iran, offered to give the 43-year-old mother of two asylum.A government spokesman said in September Ashtiani’s adultery conviction was under review but the charge of being complicit in the murder of her husband was still pending.Under the Islamic law in force in Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, murder is punishable by hanging, adultery by stoning.

christ.. i’ve read some of them, and they are racist and stupid and not completely true. why are u so against our asian friends? seriously, everyone is equal, there is no absolute good or bad, every culture is different, a culture that is different from your own doen’t make it awful. you are just not used to some cultures and people from other places, try to be tolerant, as long as they are good people in general.
and how about adding something like “asian people like to help others.” “asian people don’t look down to people”. try to look at people in a good way. only if you yourself is wicked and dreadful, will you think that about others as well.
168 BlinkuIDHC // Jul 19, 2011 at 4:54 am
So disappointing. You guys wasted a great opportunity to make this a funny, insightful, clever AND edgy piece of work … Instead, this site comes up as a lazy and uninspired copy of the Stuff White People Like material that’s just plain underwhelming and painfully unfunny. Worst of all, you’ve robbed the world of its chance to actually do a proper list.
The biggest problem? You listed far too many traits/characteristics/propensities of Asian people — instead of actually listing “THINGS” (or stuff) that Asian people like. For example, do Asians actually “like” “cutting in line,” “talking at the worst times,” or “not taking the last piece of food”? No, these are just observed stereotypes of Asian people, i.e. their propensity to do certain things or act in a certain way — they’re NOT actually *things* that Asian people “like.” Conversely, “karaoke” is a thing/stuff that Asians DO like, along with the number 8, anime, Hello Kitty etc.
There is a subtle but significant distinction between (a) making broad-sweeping stereotyping comments about Asians and (b) listing the idiosyncratic, quirky tastes of Asians that make Asians unique — and the observations in the latter far more clever, funny and satisfying. Focus on “actual things Asian people actually like” instead of “ways Asian people behave” or “things Asian people have a bad habit of doing.” It should be a list of obscure, quirky, unusual/uncommon THINGS or “stuff” that represent the eclectic tastes of Asians in a funny way.
The llist gets lazier and more uninspired as it goes on. Apparently Asians like being cheap AND buying expensive foods and designer handbags. Oh, and like half the list is made up of Asian food items — you don’t say, Asians are into Asian food? Then you have the other items on the list that don’t really seem to qualify as things Asian people uniquely like or passionately like (Nike shoes, nice guys, child labor, fresh food).

Book Review June 22/2020 “DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO WHITE PEOPLE” is a brash and lively book excellent with its diversespeak and corresponding flavors. I am excited the Nguyens created a forum for some of the best topics that this community deals with— ABC’s FOB, Filipino and each door is open buy the clever clips from young writers and blogs this book features. In the Nguyens’ drive to maintain a certain energy and humor, no door is left closed, though, these developments are given short perfect stories from young Asian writers that obsess white friends to date and be intimate with. Even the antimodel minority story of these clever community savagely bite at racist America — The racism recounted here is always overt; it is always clear. It is never mixed up with cultural difference, and faces reaction is always to alert some deserving white fans who loves rice and feel the deep hardships some continue to deal with. In a side interview with Peter he shared “My sister was valedictorian, and the white school didn’t let her give her speech – I experienced so much racism growing up, we just kept working through it, I edited over 1300 stories – 12 years of goodwill, we worked so hard” says Peter.
This book is insightful and candid is a timely portrayal of a vivid culture. (Vince Mediaa)
