Verizon is planning a Visionaries Conference for the Asian and Pacific Islander community in conjunction with Asian Heritage Month this May. A star-studded line-up of luminary and influential Asian Americans will be at the event to share their experiences about making it big in the film and media industries.

Verizon also is simultaneously hosting a AA Visionaries video contest, where aspiring visionaries can submit their ideas (whether it be in business, the arts, education, etc.) on the Verizon Wireless Facebook page to win up to $5000 to bring their ideas to life.
The Visionaries Conference is a free one-day event featuring successful and renowned visionaries like Jenny Shimizu (fashion), Cung Le (sports), Teddy Zee (entertainment), and Suchin Pak (entertainment) who will be sharing insights into the secrets to their success and what it means to be an Asian American visionary.
